Rachel Baker finds her inspiration in the landscape that surrounds her.
Living on the Somerset Levels, her initial goal was to capture the timeless essence of the region, however, having closely experienced the 2014 flooding at Northmoor Rachel is acutely aware of the transience of the landscape as we know it and feels a responsibility to capture and record it for future generations.
Although Rachel's favoured medium is oil, she also experiments with pencil, charcoal, pastels, ink and acrylics which she hopes will enhance and progress her work.
